Teaching Practice

Procedures of teaching

Before starting the practice teaching, I talked with the mentor about the classroom that I would be teaching. From observing the class and talking with the mentor, the students here are enthusiastic and studious, and everyone has participated in class.

Opening activities

   - Greeting.

   - Introduce the chapter and present the lesson objective.

   - Conduct a short review.

Core activities

   - Consider quick review and discussion and present the new theorem.

   - Give students examples and random asking questions.

   - Give students exercise.

Closing activities

   -The teacher asks questions about lessons and theorems that students learn.

   -The teacher asks question how they can apply the lesson in life.

Time management and organizing activities 40 minutes

- Opening activities 10 minutes.

- Core activities 25 minutes.

- Closing activities 5 minutes.

Problem-solving

I have some problems in my practice teaching:

-I speak softly while teaching so some students can't hear me. So I had to speak louder after realizing that the students couldn't hear.

-Some examples when teaching It took too much time so I had to teach faster in the next example.

-PowerPoint media used for teaching in some sections has errors.

Classroom management

To manage the classroom, I always ask the students to participate in the class and have them come out as representatives to write answers to the exercises that are done in front of the board.
